Privacy Policy — AI Email Reply Assistant

What data we collect

When you click a quick-reply button or submit a custom prompt, the extension sends the following data to our secure Cloudflare Worker proxy:

• The body text of the email you are replying to
• The sender name / email address shown in that email
• The subject line of the email thread
• Your chosen action (e.g. "Say Yes") or free-text intent

No other data is collected. We do not collect browsing history, contacts, or any other Gmail data.

How data is used

The data listed above is forwarded to the Anthropic Claude API solely to generate a draft reply. It is not stored, logged, sold, or used for any other purpose.

Data storage

The extension stores the following locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local:

• Worker URL and Worker Secret (configuration)
• Custom quick-reply button labels you define
• Your eye-icon toggle preference

This data never leaves your browser except as configuration headers sent to the Worker.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare Workers — hosts the proxy that forwards requests to Anthropic. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Anthropic Claude API — generates the reply text. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions it needs:

• storage — to save your settings locally
• mail.google.com — to read the email text and inject the toolbar into Gmail
• *.workers.dev — to communicate with the Cloudflare Worker proxy
